Position Purpose: The Associate Sourcing Specialist drives vendor partnerships with curiosity, energy, and agility to ensure high-quality standards and social responsibility are met. By collaborating across teams and managing vendor performance, this role supports the seamless delivery of products while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

About the role:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Development, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, QA, and other teams to align goals and drive success. 

  • Sourcing and Production Management: Review line assortments, support sourcing strategies, negotiate delivery schedules, validate sample specifications, and oversee production processes. 

  • Vendor Oversight: Select, develop, and manage vendor relationships, track performance metrics, and ensure compliance with social responsibility standards. 

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards through inspections, address non-conformance issues, and implement action plans for risk management. 

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies, evaluate risks/benefits, and support organizational growth initiatives. 

  • Cost Efficiency: Collaborate with suppliers to resolve cost challenges and communicate solutions proactively to stakeholders before key milestones. 

  • Supplier Integration: Partner with leadership to onboard new suppliers, countries, and factories seamlessly. 

  • Process Optimization: Support adherence to production schedules, identify efficiency opportunities, and work towards reducing lead times. 

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate data within the Flex PLM system and prepare external reports to ensure transparency and organization. 

  • Team Support: Assist the sourcing team in operational functions, merchandise development, and cost analysis while exemplifying a proactive, innovative, and highly driven approach. 

About you:

  • Education level: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: 0-2 years

  • English: Advanced (C1)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills. 

  • Works collaboratively in a team environment. 

  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
