The Promotions Leader is responsible for developing and implementing the price discount promotion strategy and financial analysis for all Kraus Sales Channels including Direct-to-Consumer (DTC/D2C). This role will collaborate with account managers and marketing managers to implement an evolved and competitive promotion strategy.
This is a highly analytical role that requires the ability to combine finance, marketing and analytics applications. This individual must analyze promotion results across financial performance and eCommerce traffic and conversion metrics. The role requires the ability to balance multiple, complex and often opposing priorities in a dynamic and constantly evolving market. The ideal candidate will be nimble and agile to adjust strategies based on real-time measurement data.
This cross-functional role collaborates across sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, brand protection and analytics to support our top retail customer account goals. The role reports to the Director of Channel Marketing & Analytics on a team with top channel marketing leaders driving our go-to-market strategy with retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s and Amazon.
Responsibilities:
Lead development of Omni-Channel Promotion Strategy across online, brick & mortar, trade and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC/D2C).
Develop long-term vision for promotions within the channel and their role in Delta Faucet Company (DFC) strategy.
Analyze performance of past and current promotions to understand eCommerce impact, sales lift, contribution margin and cross channel impact
Partner with Pricing Center-of-Excellence to tie promotion strategy to enterprise goals.
Handle multiple complex, competing and dynamic pricing factors to inform strategy.
Build analytic models to provide guidance on P&L impact of promotion execution.
Align promotion strategy to channel P&L and financial guardrails.
Work cross-functionally with Account Management, Marketing, Advanced Analytics and Finance.
Develop competitive analysis and insights to inform strategic plan and tactical execution
Support Power BI data model to empower Account Management to implement promotions according to strategy
Leverage price monitoring tools to inform DFC pricing strategy and adjust strategy in real time
Build and maintain Power BI dashboard to empower team with real-time data analysis
Education & Experience:
5+ Years of Financial Management experience, strong financial competence
8-10 Years of Experience; Degree in Finance or Analytics
Strong analytical capability – knowledge of statistical models and analytics principles
Retail, eCommerce or CPG experience
Proficiency with Excel and Power BI, including Power Query and DAX experience
Data-driven approach and proven record of decision making
Passion for dashboard design and data visualization techniques
Collaborative mentality with ability to build relationships with internal partners
Ability to learn continuously and adapt to a fast-paced market
