Job description

Job Summary:        

 

Our Jones Sign team is looking for a professional and entrepreneurial individual to join us as we are launching a new division - Jones Vision LED Displays. You will be tasked with introducing this new LED product line to your prospective clients as well as our existing national customers. 

 Your role includes creating and implementing a business plan to develop and grow this division from an initial concept to a $30 million operation. This position requires a strong sales leader and someone knowledgeable about digital LED technology.

The ideal candidate will have a successful and verifiable sales track record within our industry.  

 

Duties and Expectations:

  • Analyze market data to identify potential areas for growth
  • Prospect for and sell LED display systems and solutions to national account programs within all verticals
    • Automotive, retail, QSR, hospitality, finance, healthcare and others
  • Prospect and identify LED spectacular projects and venues where LED displays are specified or incorporated
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with decision makers within national accounts, architects, engineers, consultants and others
  • Identify, recruit, train, and support the appropriate resources to support this division
  • Develop the processes for selling and servicing the product profitably and effectively
  • Arrange and facilitate workshops and training seminars for architects, designers, owners and others to enhance understanding of the Jones Vision LED displays
  • Collaborate with internal resources for marketing, estimating, design, service and sales support.
  • Ability to identify and write a comprehensive scope of work. This is essential for proper estimating and project management after the sale.
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Associate degree or above in a related field - marketing, business development, construction management, architectural or structural design, highly desired.
  • 3+ years of sales experience with demonstrated success, focused on LED displays, in business to business selling 
  • Capable of working outside of the non-traditional work hours, as is common in sales.
  • LED display experience with the ability to convey technical details and value propositions to clients 
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to convey ideas and solutions effectively
  • Persistent pursuit of opportunities and leads
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Salesforce and others as required
  • Robust ability to analyze options and problem solve the unexpected.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents required; mechanical aptitude is desired.
  • Capable of doing or learning site surveys and field measurements.
  • Sales-related training a plus.
  • Active driver’s license with a clean driving record
