Job Summary:

The Sales Prospecting Specialist will be a driving force in cultivating and qualifying new business opportunities through strategic outbound phone and email strategies. The position’s main focus is to support Sales Executives in achieving business targets by facilitating various sales processes. Responsibilities include managing incoming leads, setting appointments, making outbound calls, and providing pre/post-sales support, all while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Job Duties:

  • Promptly address and respond to inbound leads and inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Proactively reach out to potential B2B commercial clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to introduce our company and offerings.
  • Partner with Sales Executives throughout the sales cycle to achieve new sales targets.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between potential clients and the sales team to advance the sales cycle.
  • Provide high-quality customer experience to prospective customers, employers, or other channel partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and pipeline activity in our CRM system.
  • Meet and exceed key performance metrics, including call volume and appointments set.
  • Assist Sales Manager and Sales Executives with pre/post-sales support.
  • Develop and convey a strong understanding of Geisinger Health plan and its product portfolio, service area, and underwriting policies
