This is a remote position.

Do you have a history in event planning, hospitality and hotel/venue contract management? Formal Builder is looking for people like you to join our growing team as our new National Director of Experience.

Our highly trained team of travel consultants sell customizable group packages to the most desirable destinations across North America and ensure that College Greeks have the smoothest and most unforgettable experiences possible. 

 

As the National Director of Experience, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Identify and manage vendor partnership opportunities including Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Cabins, and Venues

  • Vendor Net rate contractual negotiations

  • Manage current and future client relationships

  • Build customer relationships through frequent communication to determine their needs during the planning process

  • Review and approve proposals, contracts, and invoices



Requirements


  • 3+ year of event planning experience 

  • Hospitality revenue management experience

  • Hospitality contractual net rate long term agreement/partnership experience

  • Proven ability to sign dozens of group contracts in any given month

  • Manage hotel and vendor relations

  • Experience with wholesalers like Hotel Beds

  • Creative problem solver

  • Computer and Internet-savvy.

  • CMP preferred but not required

  • Citizen / Permanent Resident of the United States or Canada

Salary:

45-60k + Bonuses
