About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business requirements.
• Data Modeling: Develop robust data models using Power Query (M) and DAX to ensure performance and usability across different reporting needs.
• Data Integration: Connect to multiple data sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) to extract, transform, and load data.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, understand KPIs, and provide insights through visual analytics.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure dashboards and data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Documentation & Support: Maintain documentation for BI solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide support for end-users.
• Data Governance: Follow best practices for data quality, security, and compliance in all BI deliverables.
  
  

RequirementsMust-Have Skills:

• 3–4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Experience building and managing datasets, dataflows, and composite models
• Good understanding of data visualization principles and UX best practices
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  
  

Preferred/Bonus Skills:

• Exposure to Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL)
• Knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Experience working in an enterprise BI environment with version control and deployment pipelines
