Reporting to the Head of Social Innovation & Growth, the Director of Social Innovation & Growth is a key leadership role responsible for driving innovation, growth, and best-in-class execution across Social. This role bridges thought leadership, solution development, and operational excellence, ensuring Social innovation strategies are seamlessly integrated within client solutions and agency operations. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams, Solution Champions, and Client Partners to deliver cutting-edge marketing approaches while fostering an environment of continuous learning, experimentation, and strategic evolution. This person is someone who has a successful track record of serving as a subject matter expert on Social and evangelizing innovations.
As the Director of Social Innovation & Growth you will be responsible for the following:
● Leadership & Innovation:
Advocate for innovation by ensuring emerging best practices, industry insights, and strategic innovations are adopted across account teams.
Identify, develop, and implement new solutions that elevate social and digital marketing performance for clients.
Partner with the Innovation & Growth Lead to define the future roadmap of social and digital marketing solutions.
● Strategic Growth & Business Development:
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to develop strategic positioning and content that accelerates service adoption.
Represent Social in high value new business pitches and audits, providing expert-level solution support to drive client acquisition and expansion.
Support internal audit program with support of platform SME’s and solution champions, to ensure that current clients are always on the cutting edge with fresh strategy perspective.
● Thought Leadership & Knowledge Sharing:
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership panels to reinforce brand positioning.
Work cross-functionally with Solution Champions and Client Operations teams to refine processes and drive operational efficiency.
Lead and mentor teams in adopting and implementing social-first strategies tailored to client needs.
Develop frameworks for innovation measurement, tracking adoption, impact, and effectiveness of new solutions.
● Emerging Platform + Service Growth:
Lead emerging platform relationships including Pinterest, Snapchat, and Reddit to ensure adequate pacing towards JBP goals, and scaling the partnership.
Partner with internal stakeholders and Social Innovation & Growth Lead to explore new offerings to make Tinuiti’s Social service offering more competitive, and supportive to our teams and clients.
Requirement:
Extensive experience in digital marketing, preferably at a media agency
Technical knowledge of media channels, with deep expertise in Social
Track record of serving as a SME with strong knowledge of best practices and industry developments across Social
Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive adoption of cutting-edge strategies.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently $110,000 - $15,000 plus performance bonus up to 10%. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. We will provide more information on our benefits and equity upon requests. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted up to or over 100% of the offered base salary (no cap).
