The Role

As a Sr Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical elements of the sales process through the discovery of customer requirements and the positioning of our products to meet those needs.  You will use your experience and knowledge to clearly articulate our value to the customer through presentations, demonstrations, and the successful completion of proof-of-concept evaluations. In addition, the Senior Solutions Engineer is expected to serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to other team members.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver solution presentations, demonstrations and recommendations to prospects and customers.
  • Develop technical relationships with existing customers through Quarterly Technical Reviews.
  • Assist in response to Request for Proposals/Information.
  • Represent BeyondTrust at Trade Shows, Seminars, and other Company Events.
  • Use common Sales & Marketing applications such as Salesforce, Confluence, Skytap, etc.
  • Document customer's technical requirements and build Proof-of-Concept (POC) documentation to track and address customer priorities and objectives.
  • Provide support for BeyondTrust Partners.
  • Continue to develop both BeyondTrust product and industry knowledge.
  • Train and mentor other Solutions Engineers.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Information Systems) or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales, support and/or implementation engineer in Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Security Applications, and/or Enterprise Security Applications such as ITDR, SIEM,  CIEM, etc.
  • 7+ years of experience working for global software vendors
  • Ability to highlight product differentiators against competitors.
  • Prior experience presenting enterprise security products at trade shows and security conferences.
  • Prior documentation or project management experience in deploying enterprise software solutions.
  • Significant experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, Databases, and Network Devices
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Working knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V and SkyTap virtual environments.

Nice To Have

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CEH
  • Building, supporting, and selling security solutions experience preferred.
  • Experience with BeyondTrust products.
  • API and Webhook Scripting
