We are seeking a Lead of Communications to drive awareness and appreciation of the brand through multiple mediums and acts as the point person to facilitate all external corporate communications. The Lead of Communications partners closely with the vertical teams to develop, implement, and execute the creation of internal and external content and messaging. The Lead of Communications is also responsible for shaping and amplifying our brand voice across PR, social media, content, and executive communications. This includes our own external storytelling, securing media coverage, growing our thought leadership, and building a community that champions our brand.
Responsibilities:
· Lead PR & Media Relations – Secure press coverage, build relationships with journalists, and craft compelling pitches that get us noticed.
· Shape Our Brand Narrative – Develop and refine our messaging to ensure we’re telling a consistent, powerful story.
· Grow Thought Leadership – Position our executives as industry leaders through bylines, speaking engagements, and media opportunities.
· Build and Engage Our Social Community – Drive organic growth across LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
· Manage Crisis & Reputation Strategy – Proactively address potential PR risks and ensure our brand is protected.
· Develop High-Impact Content – Oversee blog posts, newsletters, bylines, and other content that boosts visibility and credibility.
· Monitor & Measure Success – Track media placements, social engagement, and brand sentiment to continuously refine strategy.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, business, or related field, master's degree preferred.
· 7+ years of experience in communications, PR, or brand marketing, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment.
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills
· Comfortable working within a tight-knit and motivated team
· Outstanding organizational and execution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
· Thrives working under pressure while retaining imaginative tactics and strategies
