You will support end-to-end logistics (physical flows from plants to customers), including all warehouse, transport, and co-packing operations, in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf. Purpose of role is to ensure that the NA DSD & RDC locations are setup for success! This means enable the CS&L operations teams to deliver excellent service and costs through managing their people, processes, systems, and physical sites. Collaboration is key across the CS&L network and that is where you will be RESPONSIBLE & ACCOUNTABLE for providing leadership & project management in the following DSD & RDC areas: 

Base Capital investments management (portfolio of projects) 

• Capex Procurement Management (Policy, Compliance, Budgets) 

• Implementing programs and projects in collaboration with the sites (Project initiation, write up, approvals, enable productivity, PO processing, execution, closure, reporting) 

• Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Security, Sustainability and Energy of the buildings to include utilities 

• Physical layout engineering (Re-design, pick line layout optimization, innovation) 

• Lease contract management in collaboration with Real estate (facilities & cross docks) 

Support Site leads & directors with facilities management R&M spend 

Support Site leads & directors with MHE equipment management  

• Racking Maintenance program management (pallet capacity) 

• Change management 

The Mondelēz Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) organization is a network of (50) DSD branches & (7) regional distribution centers, driving processes alignment, ways of working, technologies, and best practices. The function will LEAD the effort in this standardization supporting key metrics resulting in a positive impact to Service and Costs through execution of CAPEX infrastructure investments. Strong cross functional teams will have to be built to succeed, including procurement, engineering, external vendors, and finance. This role is responsible for the management, communication, and stakeholder management of their assigned projects and will support network projects across the US. The project manager supports Material Handling Equipment Strategy with Procurement and CS&L management. This individual will lead, support, inform, & consult cross functional teams (e.g. site evaluations, analysis, financials, sourcing and execution) and introduce & implement best practices and / or productivity opportunities. As the Role covers many locations across the US, frequent travel is required 

 

 

 

Main Responsibilities: 

• Lead the drive for continuous improvement & simplification, establishing processes that drive productivity, including creating/managing & establishing Best Practices across region for Pallets, MHE & CAPEX. 

• Manages the cross functional collaboration for all business-related issues in role scope for process and/or technology changes or implementation 

• A Subject Matter Expert in scope of role: Collaborates with Procurement on vendor issues/changes/governance. Participates / lead role in supplier bid events. 

• Governance & process collaboration with vendors e.g. Lessor process simplification in alerting & notifying MDLZ locations prior to the expiration of MHE Leases. 

• Roll-out & ensure Best Practices are executed across MDLZ NA Operations, work with business partners to develop solutions that minimize business disruption relating to process changes & system modifications on behalf of LogOps involving pallets. 

Leverage external industry contacts to provide insight into new trends direct/indirect to job scope 

• Supports, manages & reconciles the PTP (procure to pay) process for all CAPEX related PO's (Coupa Master-Shopper) Ensures all Capex projects are closed in system & have undergone the Capitalization process (incl. 'return on investment' calc in AR) with finance. 

• Project Manager over NA DSD & RDC locations (facilities & cross-docks) 

• Develop clear SOP's monitoring & recording established KPI's. 

• Implement required / supporting technology (where approved) e.g. Performance Tracking Tools.

Education / Certifications:

Masters degree is preferred. Bachelors degree is required

Travel requirements:

50% - 75% (+) Potential weekends (4 – 8 depending on projects) 

Salary:

The base salary range for this position is $117,400 to $161,425; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
