We are looking for a Business Assurance Data Analyst to join our Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management team. Our department processes hundreds of millions of records daily, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of telecom business operations. You will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, detecting anomalies, developing predictive models, and optimizing revenue streams through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze large-scale data sets (hundreds of millions of records per day) to identify revenue leakages, fraud patterns, and operational inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement machine learning models for anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and real-time traffic monitoring.
• Optimize SQL queries for high-performance data extraction from Oracle and other databases.
• Work with Python for data processing, statistical analysis, and automation.
• Develop and maintain BI dashboards in MS Power BI to visualize key business metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence to track progress and document methodologies.
• Utilize AWS services for cloud-based data storage, processing, and model deployment.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong SQL proficiency (query optimization, indexing, partitioning, CTEs, window functions).
• Python expertise with experience in data analysis: pandas, NumPy, SciPy.
• Machine learning & anomaly detection: scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM.
• Time series forecasting: statsmodels, Prophet, TensorFlow/Keras
• Big data processing: PySpark (optional, but a plus)
• Understanding of telecom data structures (CDRs, usage patterns, revenue assurance principles).
• Experience with real-time data analysis and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Athena, Redshift) for cloud data processing.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (MS Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Would be a plus:
• Experience in fraud detection, revenue assurance, or telecom analytics.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Flink for real-time data processing.
• Familiarity with Graph Analytics for fraud pattern detection.
