Company Overview:
A Health clinic providing Psychiatric and Psychological Assessment services and treatments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition Management:
● Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract independent contractor healthcare providers.
● Proactively develop and implement strategic hiring initiatives to expand the clinic’s provider network.
● Manage job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding for independent contractors.
● Build relationships and maintain existing relationships with professional associations, universities, and referral networks.
● Ensure compliance with Canadian employment and contract regulations.
● Explore internship opportunities available to the clinic
● Oversee the onboarding and development of staff and students whom we partner with through professional associations, universities, and referral networks
2. HR Management, with administrative support from our HR Coordinator:
● Oversee onboarding and offboarding for employees and independent contractors
● Handle employee relations, addressing workplace concerns and fostering a positive culture.
● Manage payroll and leave requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
● Maintain health and safety compliance, ensuring adherence to workplace regulations.
● Organize employee engagement and social events to strengthen workplace culture.
● Oversee annual performance reviews, working with leadership to refine review processes.
● Draft and manage employment contracts, addendums, and policy updates.
● Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment standards.
● Support employee development initiatives, including training programs and professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
● 5+ years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment of healthcare professionals.
● Experience in Canadian, US, New Zealand, Australia, or UK recruitment is highly preferred.
● HR generalist experience, including onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and compliance.
● Experience managing HR policies, contracts, and performance review processes.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Leadership experience, with the ability to oversee and mentor our HR Coordinator.
● HR certification is an asset but not required.
