Digital Marketing & Visual Designer
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am–5 pm or 10 am–6 pm | Sydney (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)

About the Role
We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Visual Designer to join our hospitality group's marketing team. This role is responsible for ad creation, social media management, email marketing, budget tracking, media outreach assistance, and reporting. The successful candidate will execute digital marketing tasks while ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
As an external team member, you will work closely with the internal marketing team to support both paid and organic marketing campaigns across multiple channels. Communication and task management will be coordinated via email, mobile and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
Responsibilities & Tasks
Creative Asset Development
Responsibility: Design support and asset roll out to produce high-quality visual
materials for digital campaigns and in-venue promotions.
- Task: Develop static and animated ad creatives for paid and organic media.
- Task: Edit photos and videos for social media, ads, and marketing collateral.
- Task: Ensure all assets align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Video & Photo Editing
Responsibility: Edit and optimise visual media for digital and print marketing.
- Task: Trim and edit raw photos/videos for various digital and print platforms.
- Task: Apply branding elements, subtitles, and motion graphics.
- Task: Format videos for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
EDM Creation & Email Marketing
Responsibility: Design and manage email campaigns to engage target audiences.
- Task: Create visually appealing EDM (Electronic Direct Mail) templates.
- Task: Ensure EDM layouts and messaging align with brand tone and promotions.
- Task: Manage and execute email sends via Seven Rooms or similar platforms.
- Task: Track and report email performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions).
Website Updates
Responsibility: Maintain campaign-related website content to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Task: Update campaign content, promotions, and offers on the website.
- Task: Ensure banners, landing pages, and promotional sections align with ongoing campaigns.
- Task: Upload and format images, graphics, and copy for a polished appearance.
- Task: Coordinate with the internal team and web support for necessary updates.
Organic Social Media Management
Responsibility: Plan and schedule engaging social media content.
- Task: Schedule and publish organic social media posts.
- Task: Monitor engagement and recommend improvements for reach and performance.
- Task: Collaborate with the internal team to align messaging and visuals.
- Task: Assist with social media community management.
Media Outreach Assistance
Responsibility: Support media outreach efforts through list management and email coordination.
- Task: Maintain and update media contact lists.
- Task: Send updates to media partners and influencers.
- Task: Track responses and provide outreach status updates to the internal team.
- Task: Assist in coordinating press and media collaborations.
Budget Tracking & Campaign Reporting
Responsibility: Assist in managing marketing budgets and reporting campaign performance.
- Task: Maintain budget tracking sheets, ensuring spending aligns with goals.
- Task: Compile performance reports on campaign metrics (ROI, engagement, conversions).
- Task: Provide data insights to the Head of Marketing for strategic decision-making.
Coordination with In-Venue Teams
Responsibility: Work with in-venue teams to ensure effective campaign execution.
- Task: Liaise with venue staff to gather photos, videos, and other creative assets.
- Task: Follow up to ensure timely content delivery.
- Task: Provide guidance on visual production quality to in-venue teams.
- Task: Assist in executing internal marketing training modules.
General Administration & Reporting
Responsibility: Provide administrative and reporting support to the marketing team.
- Task: Create and format presentations, training materials, and report templates.
- Task: Assist with marketing reports and campaign documentation.
- Task: Ensure all visual documents meet brand and quality standards.
