Job description

The ESG Project Manager is responsible for managing sustainability projects in
partnership with multiple stakeholders across CSG. Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform climate-related strategies, goals, and internal and external communications for public ESG reporting and disclosures.
 

Reporting to the Sustainability & ESG Reporting Executive Director, the ESG Project Manager is responsible for managing corporate sustainability initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders across CSG. The role focuses on ESG reporting and disclosures, internal project management, and the implementation of climate and social impact strategies aligned with global frameworks.

The Global ESG Project Manager drives the execution of CSG’s ESG roadmap, aligning sustainability practices with operational goals. The role manages cross-functional projects, supports regulatory readiness, enhances ESG reporting processes, and builds internal engagement around corporate sustainability initiatives.

We are looking for an ESG Project Manager who will:

  • Lead execution of the ESG strategic roadmap and ensure alignment across business units, corporate communications, procurement, compliance and legal.
  • Manage ESG reporting and disclosures in alignment with SASB, TCFD, CDP, and prepare for emerging frameworks such as CSRD and other required Climate Disclosures.
  • Manage sustainability program initiatives and ESG-related customer RFP responses.
  • Contribute to cross-functional data collection and reporting efforts.
  • Identify and foster community partnerships to support environmental and volunteer initiatives across CSG’s employee base.
  • Support GHG emissions reduction strategies, including onboarding renewable energy providers and managing carbon footprint analysis.
    Support sustainability education and engagement campaigns, helping drive a culture of impact and continuous improvement.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in sustainability or
    environmental, social, and governance related matters.

Preferred 

  • Certificate in Sustainability Management, CSR, or other ESG related corporate
    certifications.


Experience

  • 3-5 years of sustainability experience, with a focus on environmental, social
    and governance related reporting and CSR, or equivalent background.
  • ESG program development and execution, integrating sustainability into
    operations and strategy.
  • Manage ESG reporting processes and support alignment with leading ESG
    frameworks (SASB, TCFD, CDP).
  • GHG tracking and reduction efforts and third-party assurance preparation.
  • Stakeholder engagement initiatives, community partnerships, supply chain
    knowledge and ESG-related customer inquiries.
  • Readiness for CSRD and other Climate Disclosure requirements.
     

Preferred

  • Experience working in a global company
  • Familiarity with sustainability ratings (CDP, EcoVadis, MSCI) and third-party
    assurance practices.
  • Strong copywriting skills to support ESG report development and customer-
    facing sustainability materials.
     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks including SASB, TCFD, CDP, and
    emerging regulatory expectations (e.g., CSRD, SEC).
  • Ability to manage ESG data collection, reporting, and project execution across
    multiple teams.
  • Skilled in analyzing carbon emissions data and developing tracking tools.
  • Proficient in internal sustainability communications and project coordination.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator with strong written and verbal
    communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ESG reporting platforms is
    a plus.
     

Preferred

  • Familiarity with ESG ratings, third-party assurance, and sustainability
    communications

Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

$71,433.11-$114,293.82

This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
