Advanced Analytics Analyst/Data Scientist

We are looking for a highly skilled Advanced Analytics Analyst / Data Scientist to join our growing Advanced Analytics sub-team within the Data & Analytics function. This role will focus on leveraging data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis to drive actionable insights that improve commercial decision-making and operational efficiencies.

Location: Remote Eastern or Central, US

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Python/PySpark, Tableau, and a solid foundation in advanced analytics concepts, including predictive modeling, optimization, clustering, and NLP.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Develop and deploy predictive models and advanced analytics solutions to drive commercial strategy, sales forecasting, and customer insights.

• Utilize Python and PySpark for data processing, feature engineering, and model development on large datasets. Develop customer specific product recommendation models.

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and models that enhance business intelligence and reporting capabilities.

• Implement clustering, segmentation, regression, forecasting, and time-series analysis techniques to identify trends and opportunities.

• Work closely with commercial teams to optimize sales territories, incentives, and customer engagement strategies through data-driven insights.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AI/ML, statistical modeling, and analytics in life sciences to continuously improve analytical capabilities.

• Create interactive dashboards in Tableau to communicate insights effectively to business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and business teams to develop and deploy scalable analytics solutions.

What will convince us:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in advanced analytics, data science, or a similar role.

• Strong programming skills in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.) and PySpark for big data processing.

• Expertise in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard development.

• Solid understanding of machine learning models, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques applied in business settings.

• Knowledge of cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure or Snowflake) is a plus.

• Familiarity with life sciences and commercial analytics concepts is highly preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex analytical results to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
