Senior Global Operations Payment Specialist (Senior GOPS)

Description of Roles and Responsibilities 

  • In addition to the roles and responsibilities of the Global Operations Payment Specialist, the Senior Global Operations Payment Specialist is responsible for: 

  • Mentoring and training of new GOPS employees 

  • Participating as a subject matter expert (SME) in at least one of the following areas: COI monthly evaluations/checks; FMV process SME; mCode generations; payment-related systems SME; stakeholder payment inquiries; reconciliation issues, and/or; special areas not outlined here as agreed upon with GOPS manager 

  • Assisting management with workload assignment assessments 

  • Assisting management in the development of performance metrics and KPIs for the team 

  • Monitoring and analyzing payment-related data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements 

Minimum FTE Years of Experience 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry (strongly preferred) or equivalent overall experience in environment 

  • Strong computer and system skills 

  • Demonstrate ability to take on higher level of responsibility and capacity to accommodate increased workload with complex studies 

  • Demonstrated effectiveness working independently, collaboratively with peers and in cross- functional teams 

Educational Requirement 

Minimum of Associate degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
