Senior Global Operations Payment Specialist (Senior GOPS)
Description of Roles and Responsibilities
In addition to the roles and responsibilities of the Global Operations Payment Specialist, the Senior Global Operations Payment Specialist is responsible for:
Mentoring and training of new GOPS employees
Participating as a subject matter expert (SME) in at least one of the following areas: COI monthly evaluations/checks; FMV process SME; mCode generations; payment-related systems SME; stakeholder payment inquiries; reconciliation issues, and/or; special areas not outlined here as agreed upon with GOPS manager
Assisting management with workload assignment assessments
Assisting management in the development of performance metrics and KPIs for the team
Monitoring and analyzing payment-related data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
Minimum FTE Years of Experience
3+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry (strongly preferred) or equivalent overall experience in environment
Strong computer and system skills
Demonstrate ability to take on higher level of responsibility and capacity to accommodate increased workload with complex studies
Demonstrated effectiveness working independently, collaboratively with peers and in cross- functional teams
Educational Requirement
Minimum of Associate degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
