As a global leader in vertical transportation solutions, Otis is seeking an experienced and results-driven EMEA Sales Director – Global Major Projects to lead high-value sales across the EMEA region. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, securing strategic contracts (Major Projects >$2.5M), and managing a team of expert sales professionals dispersed across multiple countries. The position requires a strong balance of sales acumen, technical expertise, and cross-functional coordination with key stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Digital Technology and Field Operations

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales experts located in various EMEA markets (Spain, Germany, Poland and France), ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional growth targets. Define and monitor performance KPIs, ensuring targets are met or exceeded. Support team members with complex negotiations and executive-level client engagement.

  • Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain (High rise Elevators & Escalators) to align delivery schedules and project execution plans.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulations, and legal requirements by working with the Legal department.

  • Engage with Digital Technology (DT) teams to integrate smart elevator solutions into major projects.

  • Coordinate with Finance to structure competitive yet profitable commercial offers.
     

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience & Background
7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within the elevator, construction or infrastructure industries.
Proven track record in securing and managing projects across international markets.
Experience in managing remote teams across multiple countries.

 

Sales & Business Acumen
Strong negotiation skills and ability to close complex, high-value deals.
Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales processes
Financial acumen to structure competitive and profitable offers.

 

Technical & Industry Knowledge
Deep understanding of vertical transportation solutions and major construction projects to drive lobbying
Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions (put together the bid package).
Drive solid pricing strategy

 

Process & Cross-Functional Coordination
Experience in working with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Digital Technology, Operations to drive project success.
Strong understanding of contract management and risk assessment in major infrastructure projects.
 

Leadership & Management
Strong people management skills with experience leading dispersed teams.
Ability to mentor, coach, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
Culturally aware and able to operate in diverse markets across EMEA.

 

Location : Ideally in Paris, London, Dubai …Then Madrid, Berlin or other European capital
