Job description

What Quality Assurance contributes to Cardinal Health

Quality develops and implements quality policies, procedures, and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.

Quality Assurance develops and implements a compliant and cost-effective quality system that assures products and services are reliable, safe and effective. This job family provides oversight of production/manufacturing activities, training to operational and quality control personnel, and educates business leaders on Quality policies and procedures and ensures that all products and services are properly reviewed for quality and documented.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for component qualification for a segment of Cardinal Health Presource products supporting Sales and Marketing requests. 

  • Act as supplier liaison to obtain, review and validate supplier qualification documents. Upon validation, maintain records in Presource systems per defined policies and procedures. 

  • Responsible for compliance to document and documentation procedures including use of PRMS, SAP, Agile and other supporting document control and ERP systems.

  • Manage quality record in compliance with quality record procedure including indexing, filing, archiving, retrieving and disposal.

  • Responsible for generating QA reports/trend analysis as needed.

  • Responsible for managing limited-term projects as needed.

  • Leverage and support team as needed.

  • May support record control for product hold activities.


Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience, preferred

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Basic knowledge of medical devices and FDA regulations preferred.

Anticipated hourly range: $24.10 per hour - $34.30 per hour
