Basic Purpose and Objective of the Position - Stated Briefly:
This position will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and proper set up of reinsurance tables and related reports. The position will collaborate with various departments, including IT, accounting, auditing teams and external customers. The individual must possess strong analytical skills, very high attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and a forward-thinking approach.
Responsibilities
Accurately set up reinsurance tables to cede business
Responsible for maintaining reinsurance and table related spreadsheets and reports
Responsible for cession statement maintenance
Complete monthly close analysis
Proactively identify, recommend and implement process improvements
Prepare and maintain cohesive guidelines and process documentation, ensuring they are regularly updated
Qualifications/Education
Insurance experience desired
Bachelor degree required
Strong Microsoft Office skills required
Strong interpersonal communication skills required
Strong organizational skills required
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to work independently
Ability to take ownership of role and highly analytical
Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $62,000 to $90,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
