Job description

Position Overview:

      The Business Process Automation Specialist is responsible for working with stakeholders to document procedures, optimize workflows, and integrate applications that support business workflows. The primary application platform for workflows today is Process Street, a no-code workflow application that supports data flows via native integrations and relies heavily on Zapier. Supporting API's and webhooks is our next level of growth and automation. 


      The person in this role will be part of the Service Management team, a core group that supports two key divisions at Internet2: The Trust and Identity division whose web presence is primarily https://incommon.org/; and the NET+ Cloud division, which supports innovative cloud partnerships and services for our research and education community in the US. https://internet2.edu/cloud/internet2-net-plus-services/ 


      The Service Management team provides business administration functions for these divisions, including Customer Support channels, Onboarding services, Contract negotiations, Contract development, data management, business analytics, and other business administration and customer support services. 

Responsibilities:
  • Application mastery and management including but not limited to: Process Street, Zapier.

  • Design the integration into the following systems: Salesforce, Front, DocuSign, Slack, Google Drive, and Box.

  • Creating new workflows and continuous improvement of deployed workflows.

  • Assuring the accurate flow of data between all applications.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant concentration or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or no code workflow integrations or similar technical work.

  • 1 year experience configuring webhooks and or API’s.

  • Knowledge of data management and technologies.

  • Excellent collaboration skills, including loving to document processes, and communicating with people at all levels, which means listening skills as well as discussion skills.

  • A love of automation platforms, data accuracy, and continuous improvement. 

  • Proven ability to work remotely and with virtual teams.

  • Ability to travel domestically, approximately three weeks per year.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with business administration, customer service, and the technical environments that support them, a major plus. 

  • Demonstrated experience in Process Street.

  • A love of problem-solving and small, detail-oriented, iterative improvements.

Salary Range / Pay Grade:

$69,600 - $104,400 / IT-2


Starting pay is typically from the minimum up to the midpoint of the grade range and varies based on experience.
