Department Overview

The Response, Reporting & Evidence Software group (RRE) delivers solutions to the public safety sector. The CCReporting team at Motorola Solutions is responsible for building a platform that provides a place to build reports and analytics dashboards for different products. Our platform enables users to visualize and summarize data, providing insightful details on various products developed by teams at MSI.

The team works on a variety of projects, including:

- Developing new features and enhancements for our platform
- Working with other teams at MSI to provide them with a reporting solutions for their products

Job Description

As a software engineer contributing to an advanced software development team using modern software development techniques to produce world-class public safety software. The candidate will be responsible for participating in the SDLC process by designing, developing and maintaining the software for the product. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end application

• Write code and create unit and e2e automated testing solutions

• Write APIs to connect services/components for the e2e solutions implementation

• Participate in agile process for development with work effort estimations, planning and retrospective analysis

• Collaborate with other team members for development process and provide support

• Debug and fix the issues

• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in the face of changing priorities and requirements

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• Effective communication in English (joining an international team)
• Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of programming languages: C#, javascript, typescript
• Solid understanding of backend service architecture
• Must have strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
