About Embeddables
We’ve built the Webflow for non-static sites. It’s the most advanced and powerful low-code builder on the market for funnels and dynamic landing pages, and part of our growing platform of products that includes things like analytics, experiments, and data piping.
We’re profitable, have grown successfully with Telehealth customers like weight-loss and hair-loss medications, and are now expanding both our platform and our target markets. We’ve never experienced growth like this, and are doubling down to make the most of what is a huge opportunity to capture many more markets.
When you consider risk vs reward, there has never been a better time to join Embeddables.
Position Overview
We're seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with 2-5 years of full-time React Experience to help build our platform, which includes our Builder, our Rendering Engine, our Web App and more. You'll work on a team of 3-5 engineers, led by our Engineering Lead. You will ship experiences that are used by millions of end-users.
Engineering at Embeddables
- We lean heavily into using new technologies and services at Embeddables. For example, much of our stack including our entire rendering engine runs entirely on Cloudflare Workers, on the edge. We are also heavy users of Supabase, Vercel and Clickhouse.
- Everything we write is in Typescript.
- We have a high emphasis on code quality, best-practices, and consistency before merging into production. We believe this saves us time in the long-run.
- At the same time, we are ambitious about shipping fast, which is how we’ve built such a large platform with such a small team. We are strong believers that there is often a way to achieve something 2x (or more!) faster than we originally thought, and are always pushing ourselves to think outside the box or change how we work to hit our audacious goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Write code in Javascript, Typescript, React and Next.js.
- Build updates and features for the Embeddables platform, including our Builder, our Rendering Engine, our Web App and more.
- Contribute to our dev team’s culture of learning, growing, and building amazing products together.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-5 years of full-time React Experience
- Strong proficiency in Javascript and React
- Excellent communication skills with professional English fluency
- Strong analytic thinking skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Nice-to-Have
- Typescript experience
- Next.js experience
- Experience with serverless architecture and platforms like Cloudflare Workers
- Experience with web design and a good eye for what good/bad modern web design looks like
- Previous experience with no-code or low-code platforms e.g. Webflow
Ideal Candidate Profile
You're someone who:
- Loves taking on ambitious coding challenges and pushing yourself to improve your skills

- Has a keen eye for design and user experience

- Values clear communication and relationship building
- Wants to learn and grow your skills as much as possible during this next phase of your career
- Wants to work in a YC backed company that’s shipping fast and takes pride in delighting customers

Working at Embeddables
Our mission is to make Embeddables the best place you’ll ever work. All our current engineers say they’d be happy if they never worked anywhere else. Here’s how we do this:
- Our team’s career and financial success is well-aligned with that of the company: when we win, we all win.
- We think the best employees only want to stay somewhere where they’re constantly learning and growing their skills and experience. We aim to give you an environment where that happens every day. If you upskill so much in 2 years that your next job is more than double your original salary (this actually happened!) then we’re proud to have played a part in your success.
- We want everyone to discover their ideal way of working - type of communication, rhythm throughout the day, balance of sync/async, typing/calling, solo/paired programming. The more you know what works for you, the more we support you to do it.
- We believe strongly in challenging ourselves to produce work of high quality and quantity, while being constantly mindful that everyone who works here has a life outside work that they deserve to be able to lead.
- We listen very hard to feedback, and the entire team is involved in decisions about the company and its culture.
How to Apply and What to Expect from the Hiring Process
So you're excited about building low-code platforms experienced by millions of users? We'd love to hear from you. Here’s what to expect from the hiring process (though please note that this process may evolve over time):
- Submit your application using the link below
- We’ll reach out via email within 1 week if we’re interested in talking on a video call
- Complete a 30 min screening call where we get to know you. Expect a call with at least one leader from the dev team, and we’ll talk through the role, what to expect, learn more about you and answer any questions you have.
- If we think we’re a good fit for each other we’ll move on to ways to assess your technical capabilities. This might be a coding challenge and/or some paid work with us - we’ll do our best to fit around your existing commitments.
- If you enjoy that work and we are satisfied with your output, we’ll invite you to meet at least 2 other members of the team in a 30 min call. We encourage you to ask what it’s like to work here, what the role entails, pros and cons of working here etc.
- If that all goes well we’ll offer you an employment agreement. We’ll give you time to review it and ask any questions you have. You’ll start as soon as you sign it.
Embeddables is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
We particularly encourage those from underrepresented groups in engineering to apply.
