Oversee and manage fixed-income depository investment portfolios, focusing on liquidity and return within client defined policy, regulatory and risk constraints.
Evaluate and implement asset/liability management (ALM) strategies, ensuring alignment with client balance sheet objectives and liquidity needs.
Monitor, analyze, and mitigate portfolio risks related to interest rates, credit, and liquidity.
Client Engagement & Strategy Development:
Collaborate with C-suite executives in the development of investment/balance sheet strategies.
Present comprehensive analyses/recommendations on economic, portfolio and balance sheet strategies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and communication.
Bond Market Expertise:
Comprehensive fixed income market knowledge, including trends, pricing, and risks.
Prospect and acquire new clients focused on depository sectors. Working knowledge of both insurance and/or municipal sector is a benefit.
Work with our marketing team to develop/execute strategies promoting the advisory service.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced Excel and database management skills to analyze portfolios, run simulations, and generate reports.
Reporting development and customization.
Leverage technology and analytics to enhance portfolio performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Extensive experience managing fixed income portfolios, preferred focus on depository institutions.
In-depth knowledge of depository asset/liability and liquidity management risk and strategies.
Strong working knowledge across the various fixed income market sectors.
Proven track record of working with C-suite executives to develop and present strategic recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to prospect, market, and build client relationships.
Willingness to travel as required.

Bachelor’s: Finance
