Senior Technical Consultant | Services Team | Remote/Richmond | Hybrid

The primary focus of this role is to support the successful implementation of the RLDatix’s Workforce Management platform OneView within the Maritime, Defence, Cruise and Offshore Engineering sectors.

The Senior Technical Consultant role is seen as interacting with the customer’s Technical and Business stakeholders. The fundamental requirements are to align the solutions provided by RLDatix to the customer’s business needs, implementing any technical solutions required. This role is central to the successful delivery of projects to customers, on time and within budget.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Building and delivering custom solutions for integration, data migration, reporting enhancements, and specialized functionality to optimize customer implementations.
  • Providing technical support for interfacing with external systems to ensure software performance and resolving escalated issues as needed.
  • Leading and coordinating consultants in delivering technical project outcomes, aligning with RLDatix methodologies and governance standards.
  • Capturing and translating business requirements into best practice approaches or high-level technical specifications.
  • Demonstrating product functionality at an expert level through presentations and training sessions.
  • Facilitating technical workshops on topics such as integration workflows, data process flows, and business process alignment.
  • Ensuring compliance with RLDatix technical standards in all project implementations.


What Kind of Things We’re Most Interested in You Having

  • Extensive experience in software development, technical consulting, or system integration within an enterprise environment.
  • Proven success in delivering technical solutions that drive business value and enhance system performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server programming (Transact-SQL), .NET (C#), Typescript/Node.js, and Windows Server Administration.
  • Hands-on experience with integration using Web APIs, cloud technologies, and data transformation processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/automated testing frameworks.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, commuting to our Richmond office as needed.
  • Strong communication skills with a knack for working collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
