Project Description

The role involves developing and maintaining full-stack web applications, implementing scalable, efficient, and secure solutions using Node.js, React, AWS, and serverless technologies. You will play a key role in building APIs, ensuring system reliability, performance, and maintainability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the company's platform.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, ensuring seamless front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js, AWS, serverless) integration;
Design, build, and implement scalable APIs and web services using AWS and serverless technologies;
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement technical solutions;
Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness, optimizing serverless architectures for efficiency;
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and prevent regressions;
Perform code reviews, ensuring best practices in coding style, testability, and efficiency;
Contribute to technical documentation and update content based on product improvements and user feedback;
Track, troubleshoot, and resolve production and system issues, analyzing their root causes and impact on service operations;
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team;

Job Requirements

8+ years of experience in software development using TypeScript and JavaScript;
Proficiency in React and Node.js for full-stack development;
5+ years of experience in front-end web development;
3+ years of experience working with AWS and serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.);
3+ years of experience in back-end development;
Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, with experience in ORM tools;
Proven ability to build and maintain scalable, high-performing applications;
Experience working in agile and cross-functional development teams;
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment;
Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior developers;
English proficiency from B2 for effective communication in an international team;

Nice To Have

Experience with financial or accounting systems and data processing;
Familiarity with payment platform integrations and financial compliance requirements;
Comfortable using GenAI tools to assist in development activities;
Background in higher educational software, digital publishing, or EdTech;
