We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer with 5 - 7 years of hands-on expertise in software development, application support, and system integration. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills in Cobol, Oracle, Python, C#, .NET, VB, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Cobol, C#, .NET, VB, and Python.
Manage and optimize databases using Oracle and SQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Develop dynamic web applications and interfaces using HTML and JavaScript.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.
Ensure high quality code through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Prepare technical documentation and user manuals for developed applications.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems.
What You'll Bring to Numerator
Requirements
5 -7 years of professional experience in software development and application support.
Proficiency in Cobol, Oracle, Python, C#, .NET, VB, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
Strong database management skills, including SQL query optimization and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with front-end and back-end development.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
Certifications in Oracle, .NET, or Python are an added advantage.
Experience with cloud platforms and modern development frameworks.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
