In this position, you’ll play a critical part in advancing Carbyne’s mission! Here's your chance to:
Lead Carbyne’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy, spearhead our competitive market analysis, shape our narrative, and create compelling internal and customer-facing content that drives measurable business outcomes. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of product management, marketing, sales, and customer success, ensuring our solutions resonate with the public safety market and empower the people at the core of emergency response.
You’ll deeply understand customer needs and analyze the customers’ competitive alternatives to deliver impactful messaging and materials that bridge the gap between product innovation and market success. Your contribution will be critical in ensuring we have maximum leverage of our innovative and leading product offerings as we win business with new and existing customers.
🎯 Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & GTM Execution
- Own and drive Carbyne’s global product marketing strategy, ensuring clear positioning, messaging, and differentiation in the public safety and critical infrastructure markets.
- Develop and execute end-to-end GTM strategies, leading product launches, feature rollouts, and market expansions.
- Define and lead pricing and packaging strategies, leveraging deep competitive insights to drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to refine sales motions, drive adoption, and accelerate pipeline growth.
- Lead ABM (Account-Based Marketing) initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with sales to drive engagement in key accounts.
Analyst Relations, Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct and operationalize in-depth market research, identifying trends, customer pain points, and emerging threats to refine Carbyne’s positioning.
- Develop thought leadership and data-driven insights that reinforce Carbyne’s category leadership in emergency response and public safety technology.
- Own win/loss analysis, leveraging key insights to refine messaging, positioning, and sales enablement strategies.
- Drive competitive intelligence efforts, ensuring Carbyne stays ahead of market trends, procurement cycles, and evolving customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, IDC, Forrester), ensuring Carbyne’s strategic positioning and market leadership are accurately reflected in their research.
- Proactively manage analyst briefings and inquiries, leveraging analyst insights to inform product strategy, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
Sales Enablement & Content Strategy
- Lead high-impact sales enablement initiatives, equipping sales teams with compelling narratives, battle cards, and objection-handling strategies.
- Develop executive-level marketing assets, including whitepapers, case studies, analyst reports, and thought leadership pieces to strengthen Carbyne’s market credibility.
- Own customer advocacy programs, leveraging success stories to drive brand trust, market influence, and long-term customer engagement.
- Oversee multi-channel demand generation campaigns, ensuring messaging consistency across digital, field marketing, and enterprise sales.
- Collaborate closely with the demand generation team to optimize content for SEO, social media, and paid advertising campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and maximizing content distribution.
- Partner with sales enablement to develop content that equips sales teams with compelling narratives, objection-handling materials, battlecards, and customer success stories, driving pipeline conversion and revenue growth.
- Partner with PR/Comms to amplify Carbyne’s thought leadership, securing media placements and speaking opportunities that reinforce the company’s position as a market leader.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product marketing team, scaling capabilities to support Carbyne’s rapid growth.
- Serve as a key advisor to the CMO and executive team, ensuring product marketing aligns with overall business objectives.
- Represent Carbyne as a thought leader in the industry, speaking at key conferences, events, and customer roundtables.
- Partner with analysts, industry groups, and strategic partners to influence market perception and drive Carbyne’s positioning as a market leader.
Requirements
🔑 What You Bring
To shine in this role, you’ll need:
- 12-15 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in SaaS or public safety tech, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in developing, scaling, and executing GTM strategies and launching products, including pricing strategy.
- Strong skills in crafting compelling messaging, storytelling, and sales enablement materials.
- Demonstrated experience with competitive analysis, analyst relations, category creation, market research, and positioning in B2G and B2B markets.
- Deep expertise in GTM strategy, modularization, and persona-based marketing to drive pipeline growth and market expansion.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar marketing platforms.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on measuring and optimizing marketing initiatives.
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach, comfortable in fast-paced startup environments.
- Desirable qualifications include: Experience in public safety, government, or civic tech markets; familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, RFP processes, and procurement in public sector organizations; knowledge of public safety technologies.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $180-$200k Base + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401K). Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
