Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and Azure Architect with expertise in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and IAM (Identity and Access Management). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Microsoft Azure. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture design and implementation for cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform.

  • Provide expertise in EDI (Jitterbit Harmony EDI) systems integration to enable seamless and secure data exchange.

  • Define and implement comprehensive IAM strategies, including role-based access control (RBAC), single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA)- nice to have.

  • Ensure IAM best practices and policies are integrated into all solution designs to safeguard sensitive data and streamline identity management.

  • Define best practices and establish technical standards for cloud architecture and development.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools and APIs as needed for system optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and security regulations across all deployments.

  • Mentor development teams and conduct technical reviews to maintain high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Azure Certification (e.g., Azure Architect, Azure Developer, or similar preferred)

  • Proven experience in cloud architecture and solution development, particularly within Azure environments.

  • Strong understanding of EDI protocols, systems, and processes.

  • Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks and best practices.

  • Proficiency in Azure services such as Logic Apps, Data Factory, Azure AD, and Service Bus.

  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

  • Strong knowledge of .NET Core and related frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ETL pipelines and data transformation processes.

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Azure Service Fabric, and Cosmos DB.

  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques for cloud-based applications.

  • Exposure to App Insights for logging and analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in software development, including at least 3+ years in an architectural role.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

CNX is looking for short-term employment and/or contractors.

 

The base salary range for this position is $85-$110/hr USD. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
