Job Description:
Our Product Experience Team at Epiq is growing! We are looking for a passionate US-based Senior Technical Writer to create online help and documentation for products that span AI, cloud, and web technology. In this role, we are looking for a creative, analytical writer who can focus on client needs, understand business goals and issues, and implement best practices to create useful content. Senior Technical Writers at Epiq develop, evolve, and champion the Help and documentation vision for the Epiq Legal Solutions software product line.
Throughout the development lifecycle, our Senior Technical Writers work collaboratively with product and engineering partners to document our products. Examples of previous work is essential when applying for this position.
Key Job Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive Help systems for Epiq Legal Solutions software products that include AI products and features.
Gain deep understanding of products to efficiently translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content.
Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience, turning insights into user success. Experience in creating video content considered a plus.
Develop content in various forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice and style across all documentation. Experience in creating video content considered a plus.
Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement.
At least 5 years of experience working as a technical writer or similar role designing and maintaining high-quality help systems appropriate for the target audiences. Preferred experience using Madcap Flare, XML, and CSS.
Experience working with complex customer-facing B2B software, including enterprise software or software for the legal industry. Experience with AI products considered a plus.
Experience working as part of an Agile team, collaborating directly with product owners, product managers, and developers. Includes a familiarity with tracking stories and bugs in Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar tool.
Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, English, or a related field.

The Compensation range for this role is 67,482.90 - 134,965.20 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.Click here to learn about Epiq's Benefits.
