The purpose of this position is to plan and monitor MARFORRES Facility FSRM/MILCON projects.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Facilities Project Manager: $90,000 - $95,000. Pay commensurate with experience.

Contractor shall coordinate with stakeholders for timeline development, site access, updating drawings/plans/documentation, and will attend meetings daily to ensure project clarity.
Monitor and report progress on MILCON / Military Construction Reserve Force (MCNR) projects and update and monitor documents of MCNR and FSRM project status to ensure milestones are being met.
Analyze contract drawings / specifications (including technical RFPs) and review for compliance with project planning documents (e.g., BFRs, DD Form 1391 documents, special studies).
Manage the construction contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) ensuring timely responses. Routinely visit construction sites to monitor progress and solicit daily input from the Construction Manager / Engineering Technician / Quality Assurance (ET/QA) representatives and CQC reports; and attend QC meetings including preparatory meetings involving critical work activities.
Conduct final inspection of project to include punch list review and project closeout meeting.
Receive project warranty information for each MARFORRES site that has undergone new or upgraded construction, and post data onto Facilities SharePoint for future reference.
Update and monitor documents of MCNR and FSRM project status to ensure milestones are being met.
Maintain a record of project progress and coordinate key milestone dates with external Project Managers and associated team members.
Coordinate with each subject matter expert of supporting actions or services and assists in preliminary preparation of required documentation.
Review project plans and specifications in cooperations with supporting the Facilities Branch engineers and liaison with unit site leadership; attend construction kickoff and follow-on meetings, site visits; observe and investigate construction at all stages to identify problems, report potential problems, and recommend changes to solve challenges with plans and specifications; monitors project milestones and ensues that completion deadlines are consistently met.
Provide reports and conduct site visits of projects as directed by MFR Facility Directorate of Facility Operations officer. Site visits may include the analysis of existing and planned conditions and any recommendations or proposed actions on major deficiencies in existing facilities and equipment.
Prepares weekly synopsis of work in-progress, status of FSRM and MILCON projects.
Provides monthly deliverable reports to site lead.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, Otherwise, Certification in Project Management or relevant experience required.
5-8 years of construction Project management experience preferred.
Experience working with US Government construction agencies (NAVFAC/USACE) highly desired.
8-10 years US Military experience in a related position or field is preferred (U.S. Marine Corp. experience is desired).
Excellent communication skills, both oral & written
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Demonstrate the ability to carry out support tasks related to facilities operations as presented.
Knowledge of fundamentals of facilities maintenance management and planning; technical skills in employing procedures to sustain, repair, modernize all types of facilities.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
