Position Description
As a QIAGEN Digital Insights Campaign Specialist, you will be the person responsible for assembling, coordinating, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and drive customer acquisition, focusing on QIAGEN's digital content, software and services for the clinical genomics and discovery areas of our business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Working with marketing managers, develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, email marketing, and social media.
- Lead coordination: Work with the QIAGEN Marketing Insights and Analytics team for lead processing from various sources such as webinars, 3rd party lead-gen programs, stale and rejected leads, and others as they come through.
- Content Coordination: Work with content team to create and deploy engaging and informative marketing materials such as, infographics, blog posts, email, social media posts, and presentations.
- Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact. Utilize best practices such as A/B campaigns to drive high-impact, high-performing content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives and track campaign performance in Sales Force. Occasionally, as needed, work with outside vendors to coordinate delivery of assets for external campaigns.
- Market Research and Analysis: Work with team to deploy customer surveys and/or ingest external market data to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Project Management: Manage marketing projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Bioinformatics Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of QIAGEN's bioinformatics software and services, including their applications in various fields. Strong understanding of how these solutions apply to different customer segments is a strong plus.
- Scientific Knowledge: Leverage deep scientific knowledge to identify customer challenges and map them to QIAGEN's bioinformatics software services.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and product managers.
Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marketing, communications, or a scientific discipline. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Experience: 2+ years experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a focus on digital marketing and campaign management. Will accept advanced degrees in biology and/or bioinformatics in lieu of direct campaign management experience.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant marketing tools and platforms, such as email marketing software, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the life sciences industry, particularly in the field of NGS and bioinformatics, is a strong plus.
- Location: Remote (can be based anywhere in the US).

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a bonus plan, overtime potential, and generous benefits.
