Position Summary
The Director, Digital Product Management will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our Allied Digital portfolio. This role is critical in shaping the future of our digital portfolio, ensuring it delivers high-value solutions to our clients while meeting business objectives. The Director will lead a product team that collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and impactful solutions.
This is a high-impact role where the Director will be responsible for defining the next generation of healthcare technology, ensuring Allied’s portfolio of solutions is user-friendly, compliant with healthcare regulations, and delivers measurable value to our clients.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define product goals and key success metrics.
- Develop and communicate a long-term product vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
- Define and manage the portfolio roadmap, ensuring alignment with client needs and business priorities.
- Balance innovation with scalability and stability, ensuring the product evolves efficiently as the company grows.
- Develop and maintain customer personas to ensure product decisions meet user needs.
- Implement a new feature and prioritization process that allows stakeholders to weigh the value of competing priorities.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Foster a data-driven decision-making culture, using product analytics and customer feedback to refine features.
- Utilize agile methodologies to streamline product development.
- Work with engineering and design teams to execute product development cycles effectively.
- Partner with all relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Work closely with sales, implementation, and operations to define go-to-market strategies and support product positioning.
- Drive internal communication and stakeholder buy-in, ensuring alignment across departments.
- Ensure that clear product requirements have been developed and are well documented for engineering teams.
- Communicate upcoming feature enhancements through release notes, training, and other innovative communication strategies.
- Develop and track feature adoption metrics to measure success and influence future feature iterations.
- Identify emerging trends in the healthcare industry, ensuring the company stays ahead of its competition.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Engage with stakeholders regularly to gather feedback and understand pain points.
- Translate customer insights into actionable product improvements and innovations.
- Lead, coach, motivate and develop. Responsible for one-on-one meetings, performance appraisals, growth opportunities and attracting new talent.
- Clearly communicate expectations, provide employees with the training, resources, and information needed to succeed.
- Actively engage, coach, counsel and provide timely, and constructive performance feedback.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience And Skills
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in SaaS product management or similar role, including demonstrated sustained performance with impact at a team(s) or department level required.
- At least 5 years at a manager level and successfully demonstrated leadership competencies required.
- Proven track record of owning and scaling a technology/SaaS product.
- Strong technical acumen, ability to work closely with engineers and understand architectural trade-offs.
- Experience with B2B, B2C, or B2B2C SaaS products, particularly in the healthcare industry.
- Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, user-centered design, and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience working with product analytics tools, like Mixpanel or Google Analytics.
- Passion for solving customer problems and building intuitive, scalable products.
