GoTeam is looking for a Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our dynamic team supporting a leading mortgage brokerage based in Australia. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to take on diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth flow of processes from application to settlement.


What You Will Do:


  • Confirming commission payments and categorizing files as 'settled' upon payment
  • Managing the application process and liaising with clients for outstanding documentation
  • Ordering valuations and following up on valuation orders
  • Coordinating pricing and scenarios with lenders
  • Handling loan documentation, solicitors, and account setup
  • Overseeing post-settlement activities such as pricing, switching, and retention pricing
  • Monitoring the pipeline and ensuring timely progression of applications
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless post-approval to settlement processes
  • Providing support in day-to-day operational tasks to ensure efficient workflow


Skills and Qualifications:


  • At least 1 year experience working as a Broker Assistant for an Australian Mortgage Brokerage firm
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Familiarity with mortgage or financial services industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and applications for loan processing and documentation
