Job Title: Buying / Planning Associate

Company: GOTEAM

Location and Workplace: Work from Home

Shift Schedule: Nightshift - Weekends Off

Salary: Up to 30K depending on experience

Summary: We are seeking for a Buying/Planning Associate who is an effective multi-tasker and problem-solver, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and with a highly collaborative team. This person will be responsible for acting as an integral support to our current buying / planning team. The ideal candidate is dynamic and detail-oriented with strong communication skills and excellent organizational skills. Experience in the home furnishing industry is a plus.

In This Position, You Will Be

  • Provide administrative and organizational assistance to the buying / planning department.
  • Manage the approval process for all orders and escalate discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
  • Manage the setup and maintenance of all SKUs.
  • Assist with order cancelations, modifications, replacements, and trade orders, updating necessary systems and reports when applicable.
  • Create and manage all purchase orders and communicate order updates/changes to the appropriate teams.
  • Oversee order placement and product tracking to ensure timely receipt of product.
  • Monitor inbound shipments with the team overseas and work closely with the warehouse team to receive products upon arrival.
  • Responsible for managing vendor bills and entering accurately into the system.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to manage inventory adjustments within Sixpenny systems and ensure proper allocation of goods.
  • NetSuite, Asana, and Shopify experience required.


Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in buying, planning, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in purchasing and planning tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of brand customers and aesthetic to align purchasing decisions with brand identity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, is preferred.
  • NetSuite, Asana, and Shopify experience required.
