Our commercialized products are approved in certain countries for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma and in the U.S. for the treatment of adult patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma. We have ongoing or completed clinical trials investigating Tumor Treating Fields in brain metastases, non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, liver cancer and gastric cancer.

The Clinical Educator (CE) for the Southeast position reports to the Clinical Education Lead and is an exempt key field-based position within the US Thoracic Business Unit. The CE will support the launch of Tumor Treating Fields in NSCLC and be responsible for all commercial educational activities in oncology practices within the assigned territory.
This is a full time, exempt, field-based position that reports to the Director, Clinical Educators Thoracic. Ideal candidates will live near a major airport in the state of Florida as this position will support clinicians in the Southeast region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the launch of a new therapeutic modality in the lung cancer space through education in the oncology setting to key stakeholders responsible for patient education
Leverage clinical and professional expertise to internal and external customers
In collaboration with Territory Managers, drive awareness and education of Tumor Treating Fields and programs to both optimize patient outcomes and achieve specific business objectives
Plan and implement educational programs, in-services, and meaningful clinical exchanges based on regional business priorities with nurses, Advanced Practitioners, and other appropriate members of the healthcare community
Conduct customer educational needs analysis and, in collaboration with Territory Managers, develop a purposeful strategic plan to resolve customer issues
Support and advise marketing and training in the design, development, and implementation of educational programs that drive and support Tumor Treating Fields
Gather and communicate unsolicited marketing intelligence information
Develop and maintain expertise in the area of NSCLC and Tumor Treating Fields
Demonstrate compliance with policies, procedures, and processes in accordance with Novocure Values and Behaviors
Excellence in execution of corporate and regional strategies within assigned geographic area resulting in achievement of business objectives
Build confidence for Tumor Treating Fields through education with approved branded and unbranded materials
Work in close collaboration with all internal stakeholders on the sales, medical, marketing, market access and patient services teams
Comply with all Novocure policies, SOP’s and guidelines
Maintain timely and accurate account/CRM records
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) degree required
5+ years clinical experience in Oncology required
1-2 years Pharmaceutical or related industry experience highly preferred
Effective communication/presentation skills to deliver formal slide presentations, stand-up education experience, small group interactions, and 1:1 clinical conversations in both virtual and in-person settings
Demonstrated ability to develop deep, effective working rapport and foster a collaborative, consultative relationship with healthcare professionals, especially nurses required
Ability to manage an assigned territory
Must have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced organization with minimum supervision, good judgment and sound decision making skills
Proven ability to multi-task numerous responsibilities and to collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders
Superior oral and written communication skills
Ability to adjust quickly to business needs and customer demands
OTHER:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
Ability to dedicate 40-60% of time to travel on a weekly basis. Travel outside of territory on occasion
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
