About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to design and implement security solutions across our cloud environments. You will be responsible for securing cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and developing best practices to protect applications and data.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures across Google Cloud.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud environments.
Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities.
Work closely with DevOps, IT, and engineering teams to integrate security into cloud solutions.
Establish and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls and policies.
Monitor cloud environments for security threats, and incidents, and respond to breaches effectively.
Implement security best practices for containerised applications and microservices.
Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
Research and recommend security tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance cloud security.
Educate teams on cloud security risks and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
3+ years of experience in cloud security architecture and cybersecurity.
Hands-on experience with cloud security tools (AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, Google Security Command Center).
Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, network security, and compliance standards.
Experience with security automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Professional certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer) are a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
