Job description

Position Summary:

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. Financial analysts leverage strong accounting and compliance backgrounds to explore historical financial data, predict future results and drive process and policy improvements. This candidate would be responsible for the analysis of the data behind all the cost savings initiatives as well as providing data to lead us to other savings opportunities.

 

This is a remote based position involving less than 5% travel.

 

Compensation: $105,000-115,000 depending on experience!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights that enhance business performance and inform strategic decisions

* Assist the VP of Enterprise Efficiency and Transformation in identify cost savings opportunities across all business functions

* Monitor and measure the progress of efficiency initiatives  
* Partner with Department Leaders and business to make recommendations based on identified trends and analysis
* Assimilate, organize and digest large amounts of data.

* Develop monthly actual reporting process from tracking capabilities to detailed analytics/validation for entire Enterprise Efficiency program
* Form collaborative relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying and responding effectively and courteously.
* Performs other ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.

Key Competencies and Minimum Education:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years in key operational strategic planning, Financial Operations Leadership, and Financial Planning & Analysis in the Automotive Repair and Fleet Maintenance Industry
  • Financial analysis techniques, budgeting/forecasting processes
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret operational metrics
  • Strong PC skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong financial/cost analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • Proficiency in Written and Verbal form communication required to document and generate reports that are clear, convincing, informative, engaging, unambiguous, and uniquely tailored to suit different audiences.
  • Capability to lead operational strategic initiatives
  • Must possess strong leadership, analytical skills, sound business judgment, and be comfortable working with senior management.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work across all levels and functions.
  • Detail-oriented with attention to quality/accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, concurrently handling multiple projects.
  • Peoplesoft and DOMO experience, a plus
