Your role…

As a Senior Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions for ReSource Pro, you will play a key role in executing ReSource Pro's mergers and acquisitions strategy by identifying and tracking opportunities, conducting due diligence, creating financial analysis, models, board presentations, investment business case decks, assisting with post-acquisition integration, and monitoring the performance of prior acquisitions. You will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and investment analysis, as well as strong communication, analytical, and project management skills. You will foster a respectful and collaborative environment by upholding professionalism and engaging in constructive and respectful conversations.

All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration.

After 3 months you will…

  • Conduct research and industry analysis to identify, qualify, and prioritize potential M&A targets in core and adjacent markets
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and key financial metrics to assess the attractiveness of target business
  • Organize and maintain prioritization lists for the executive team, synthesizing large volumes of data into actionable insights
  • Assist in deal execution through due diligence and integration; Prepare and execute detailed project plans
  • Support the creation and execution of value creation plans; Contribute to financial diligence calls
  • Prepare financial, qualitative and valuation analyses, including P&L forecasts, cash flows, financial models, and other ad hoc financial analyses related to acquisition activities
  • Prepare and present investment presentations for ReSource Pro's executive team, private equity sponsor, and Board of Directors
  • Develop simple and insightful financial models from raw data to evaluate target company profitability and key financial metrics for presentation to the board
  • Develop and execute due diligence agendas, focusing on strategic plans, growth profiles, and key business drivers
  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Revenue, Finance, Technology, Talent, Operations, Marketing) to gather and synthesize critical due diligence information
  • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of quantitative valuation methodologies, DCF, comparable company analysis, sum of the parts, data tables, and advanced knowledge of key financial accounting and US GAAP principles
  • Support relationships with C-suite and executive teams at potential partner organizations

What You Need to Be Successful…

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics, or equivalent
  • Live in the Eastern time zone
  • 2-5 years' experience in M&A
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication
  • Superb professionalism and ability to present to individuals at the Executive level
  • Outstanding business acumen
  • Strong project management and analytical skills

Your Compensation...
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $64,733 - $98,000 per year. The salary range may vary based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
