Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking a full-time (37.5 Hours) mission-minded PCE and Payroll Specialist. Must reside in Ohio prior to start date.
SUMMARY
The PCE & Payroll Specialist is accountable for the accurate and efficient processing of payroll to ensure timely compensation for all associates. Collaborating closely with PPGOH’s Finance and PCE departments, this role involves collecting and verifying time-sheet data, calculating wages and deductions, distributing paychecks, and managing tax and benefit payments. Additionally, this position will oversee various projects within the PCE department and other internal stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
PCE
- Maintains strict confidentiality and integrity in all interactions with associates, managers, and leaders.
- Provides labor and statistical data to external vendors.
- Supports agency audits and accreditation indicators as required.
- Administration of special projects such as PPGOH volunteer programs, managing documentation for community health workers, internships, and contractors in partnership with internal stakeholders.
HRIS

- Leads the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HRIS software to ensure seamless data management and reporting.
- Collaborates with IT and other departments to integrate HRIS with other systems and tools.
- Stay updated on HRIS trends and technologies, recommending enhancements and updates as needed. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations, including auditing and non-discrimination laws.
- Maintains the Ask Here functionality in the HRIS.
Payroll

- Tracks and manages Payroll communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and maintaining communication tools.
- Utilizes electronic timekeeping and payroll systems to prepare bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with compensation and overtime policies, and resolving timecard discrepancies.
- Ensures accurate administration of associate benefits according to PPGOH policies.
- Enters third-party sick pay data into payroll systems to maintain accuracy in W-2s and tax liabilities.
- Manages PTO, holiday accruals, and HRIS profiles, tracking hours and making necessary adjustments.
- Facilitates the reimbursement process for associate expenses and input expenses into the general ledger.
- Manages various types of employment leaves and files necessary PSLF, FMLA, and Disability claims.
- Coordinates associate donations for payment processing.
- Collaborates effectively with the internal Finance department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with HRIS and/or Accounting Software required.
- Experience in task management.
- Continuous training to maintain effectiveness in role.
- Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) credential suggested.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential suggested.
