POSITION   

Customer Service and Sales Support (Summer position)

Remote (Office in Oakville, ON )

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday from 9 am-5 pm (EST)

About the Company 

Unique’s 50+ years of engineering and manufacturing industry-leading appliances, Unique has modernized the off-grid kitchen with our line of truly “Unique” battery ignition propane & solar DC appliances. In addition, an extensive line-up of stylish convection gas ranges and matched pair retro appliances in a variety of sizes and colours to choose from. 

We are currently looking to bring on a Summer Students to provide support to both our Sales and Customer Service teams.  This position is to start as soon as possible and will end on August 29, 2025. 

Job Duties: 

  • Answering customer calls and emails and triaging as required 

  • Responding to dealer location inquiries and other general inquiries  

  • Answering basic tech support questions  

  • Accurately recording customer interactions in CRM system 

  • Inputting parts and appliance orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements and delivered on time 

  • Developing and delivering a weekly sales reports 

  • Assisting with the creation of sales support materials 

  • Providing support to other departments such as Marketing and Supply Chain/Logistics as required 

Requirements: 

  • Enrollment in a post-secondary institution (Business, Marketing, Commerce or Administration would be an asset but not required) 

  • Bilingual in English and French  

  • Demonstrated customer service skills and a high attention to details 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills  

  • Knowledge of Microsoft environment, especially MS Office Suite 

  • Ability to apply time-management skills in a dynamic environment, including high organizational skills. 

  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP and/or CRM systems would be an asset
