Job description

This role...

ReSource Pro is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant II to join our team and leverage their accounting expertise throughout the M&A lifecycle. This role involves critical tasks such as data gathering, financial statement reviews, ERP data conversion, and meticulous coordination of integration activities. This role will also provide ongoing accounting support, collaborate closely with internal teams, and ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth transitions for acquired companies. 

In This Role You Will...
  • Participate in due diligence meetings, gather key financial data, and track action items.
  • Contribute to pre-close integration tasks, including data analysis of customer/vendor lists, contracts, and financial records.
  • Support ERP data conversion and validation, including customer/vendor data, sub-ledger loads, and balance sheet entries.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and accounting teams to ensure seamless financial process integration.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide support for accounts payable, expense reporting, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Assist with annual audits, internal/capital project accounting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support project management tasks, tracking integration checklists and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments (e.g., Technology, Talent)

What you need to be successful...
  • All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration. 
  • 3–5 years of experience in general accounting functions (general ledger, journal entries, invoice processing, and/or payroll).
  • 1+ years of experience in Project Management (Preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (Preferred)
  • Workday experience a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems, including booking journal entries, running reports, and data integration/validation
  • Excellent collaboration & team orientation

Your Compensation... 

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $38,045-$64,210. The salary range may vary based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
