Job Description

Onshape (www.onshape.com), a PTC SaaS business, is a SaaS Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and data management platform for professional mechanical designers and engineers, and the fastest growing CAD platform as per Engineering.com.

This is an exciting role where you will help super-scale Onshape into the largest manufacturing companies across Europe and where you will be working within a business unit that uses cutting edge cloud, web, and mobile technologies. 

 

Day-To-Day: 

  • Responsible for sales cycle from prospection to close, focusing on enterprise hunting (80%) and large account farming (20%) in EMEA region 

  • Manage a forecast to achieve or exceed the assigned quota within the territory 

  • Deal with Internal Ecosystem to drive deals to a successful close and to drive account growth (Matrix organization – extended Sales teams, Technical teams, Customer Success) 

  • Translate Onshape value proposition into real-world business value 

  • Occasional travel is required 

 

Skills and Knowledge: 

  • High aptitude for developing solid relationships with CxO-level customers 

  • Excellent sales acumen and a disciplined hunter attitude 

  • High degree of self-motivation, firm commitment, and winning attitude with drive for success 

  • Proven ability to plan and execute effectively to meet business objectives  

  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills 

  • Experience in CAD/PDM/CAE is preferable but not required 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 

  • +5 years of Enterprise sales preferably in the engineering and manufacturing space
