The Senior Manager, Professional Services is a senior member of our EMEA Professional Services leadership team. You have a key role in growing our Professional Services business and delivering value to our customers. You know how to build relationships, keep projects on track and secure new business. You are comfortable interfacing with all levels of stakeholders both internally and externally.

As a Professional Services Senior Manager you will…

  • Lead, motivate, inspire and mentor your team to excel

  • Engage closely with our sales teams to develop strong customer relationships and grow the Cloudera Professional Services business, this role’s regional focus being the SEMEA region.

  • Define, scope, sell and take an active role in the delivery of strategic customer engagements

  • Drive customer satisfaction and customer success in your region

  • Be responsible for the services revenue and bookings forecast and performance in your region

  • Build effective partnerships and collaborate with your peer group to streamline our Professional Services go to market strategy

  • Attract, hire and retain the top talent in the industry

We're excited about you if you have…

  • Several years experience in successfully managing a Professional Services/Consulting team, preferably within an enterprise software company or SaaS company

  • Experience in leading the selling, scoping and delivery activities on large scale, technology driven projects

  • Direct line manager experience of a geographically dispersed team of highly talented technically focused employees

  • Excellent customer relationship management experience including managing escalations, and participating in executive steering meetings

  • Strong foundational knowledge of working within the data domain, distributed computing, hybrid cloud operations and IT strategy

  • Strong knowledge of software implementation and project/program management methodologies

  • Self-starter mentality and collaborative problem solver

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills

  • Strong negotiation and excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to travel between 10-20% of your time

  • Industry experience working with Financial Services & Public Sector customers

  • Experience working with customers in the Middle East, Turkey & African regions
