Information Technology – Remote (U.S. Based)

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to collaborate with development and product teams in testing and ensuring the quality of public-facing, internet-connected applications across web, mobile, connected TV, and streaming devices. This role involves designing, executing, and tracking test cases to identify defects and verify fixes in software development, information systems, and operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate efforts across teams to maintain high product quality and seamless user experiences.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience preferred
3+ years of software testing or professional QA experience for web and app-based products, including at least one year in automation
Strong understanding of testing fundamentals, including functional, performance, and security testing
Deep understanding of internet technologies, database concepts, and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and .NET
Experience with test automation tools such as QTP, TestComplete, and Selenium
Hands-on experience with Android and iOS application testing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical mindset, keen attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Ability to multitask, work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
Strong ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and external stakeholders
