Job Summary: The Productivity and Efficiency Manager will spearhead initiatives focused on enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency across the organization. This role entails identifying opportunities for process enhancements, optimizing workflows, and executing strategic efficiency programs throughout the organization. This position requires a strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies, as well as demonstrated leadership experience in procurement management within medium to large B2C companies. |
Duties and Responsibilities |
Key Responsibilities: Remote in the US with up to 25% travel Financial Savings and Performance · Deliver meaningful financial savings to the organization on a continuous basis through process improvement initiatives. · Analyze financial processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize efficiency. · Utilize data-driven analysis to support decision-making and drive financial performance improvements. · Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
Project Management · Lead and manage financial productivity and efficiency projects using Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen methodologies. · Monitor and report on the progress of productivity and efficiency initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management.
Collaboration and Implementation · Ensure alignment of efficiency goals with overall business objectives and company vision. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals. · Design standardized purchasing processes and controls, implement purchasing systems, and promote best practices.
Supplier Management · Oversee supplier relationships and negotiate agreements to maximize cost efficiency.
Continuous Improvement Culture · Conduct training and workshops to develop and instill a culture of continuous improvement in the organization. · Develop and maintain documentation of process improvements and best practices.
Risk Management · Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks to reduce organizational risk.

Work Experience and Requirements |
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or Master's Degree preferred. • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) with 7+ years of professional work experience. • Proven success in process improvement and efficiency management in a mid- to large-sized multinational business. • Experience in procurement and vendor management within a B2C retail organization. • Extensive experience in procurement. • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach. • Strong communication skills, business acumen, and the capability to effectively influence in a complex business environment. • The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • A charismatic leader who can inspire and empower others to embrace new ideas and processes. • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, Advanced Excel required. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. • A motivated and energetic self-starter who can work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, design new processes, inspire buy-in, and implement improvements without disruption to daily business operations. • Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance competing priorities to produce the most favorable outcomes. |
