Northrop Grumman's Chief Information and Digital Office is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Workday Integrations Developer to join our growing HR Technology team. This early/mid career role will focus on developing, maintaining, and supporting Workday integrations using various Workday integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Workday and a strong desire to learn and grow within the Workday ecosystem. You will work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and functional consultants to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.

This position can be performed as a virtual telecommuter

Previous experience with Workday Integrations Development Required

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using various technologies including:

    • Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)

    • Workday Studio

    • Cloud Connect

    • Web Services (SOAP and REST)

    • Workday Report Writer

  • Assist in the design and implementation of new integrations and enhancements to existing integrations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration errors and issues.

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.   

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.

  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.   

  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of integrations.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday features and technologies.

  • Assist in the ongoing maintenance and support of the Workday platform.

  • Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's degree. (Education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement)

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Workday integrations.   

  • Hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies, including EIB, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).

  • Deep knowledge of report writing and calculated field creation

  • Understanding of data integration concepts and principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.   

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.

  • Experience with XSLT, XML, and other data transformation languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HR business processes and data.

  • Experience in an agile development environment.

Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
