ROLE OVERVIEW:  

Role Overview: At Codecademy, we are dedicated to democratizing technical learning and helping individuals and teams develop. Reporting into the Director of Product Marketing, as a Codecademy Teams Onboarding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our digital presence and improving customer engagement. This role will be focusing on inbound leads, answering questions, and providing onboarding support to improve conversion rates from trial to paid subscriptions. 

 

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS and Key RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Engage with inbound leads to understand their needs and provide tailored onboarding support. 

  • Answer questions and provide detailed information about Codecademy Teams products and services. 

  • Focus on improving the conversion rate from trial to paid subscriptions by offering exceptional onboarding support. 

  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, and customer service departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. 

  • Track and report on key metrics related to onboarding and conversion rates. 

  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve the onboarding process and customer experience. 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferable in a SaaS or tech environment.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills 

  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other relevant software tools.
