We are looking for OSI PI Engineer to join our team.

We have an opportunity for an experienced PI Engineer to join our team on an permanent basis. This role will support and manage our customer’s portfolio of PI Systems .

This role can be remote, UK based.

Requirements

Here's what the role will look like:

We are looking for an OSI engineer with experience of supporting Energy sector or similar application portfolios. Experience of supporting a diverse portfolio of applications, including Real-Time asset information systems (primarily OSI PI) .

  • Previous extensive experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Experience of supporting Energy sector or similar application portfolios, with a knowledge of SQL, Oracle and necessary database interfaces.
  • Experience working and liaising closely with vendors and has the ability to keep them on track.
  • Analytical skills
  • Application interoperability, integration, data flows, functionality overlap
  • Real-time data / PI knowledge/understanding
  • Database knowledge
  • Automation/scripting skills: csharp, Python (desirable)
  • Reporting
  • Understanding on Allocations, system configuration and performance, Production / Lost-production figures.
  • Familiar with Agile & DevOps
  • Fast learner and delivery-focused
