Job description

SmartBrief, a division of Future Plc, is looking for a Manager, Partner Development to oversee a book of main association and corporate partners.

The Manager will manage all aspects of the partner relationship from launch through renewal negotiations, providing front line contact with associations to ensure superior service, strategic growth and partnership renewal. 

What you'll be doing

We ask that you have experience in strategic collaboration with departments throughout the organization to anticipate partner needs and identify solutions.

The role of Manager requires independent thinking and problem solving, and the ability to develop key relationships with various contacts at partner organisations.

You will need to have experience in digital/email marketing and audience growth strategies, as well as be an excellent writer. You will report to and work closely with the Director, Partner Development and the Senior Director, Partner Development in identifying areas of opportunity and growth for several partners and internal teams. 

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

  • At least 3 years of related client service experience.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions.
  • Trade Association, digital marketing, agency, or media company background
  • Communicate and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive level stakeholders.
  • Project management experience

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related client service experience
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions
  • Trade Association, digital marketing, agency or media company background preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive level stakeholders
  • A strong sense of organization with strict attention to detail
  • Project management, Salesforce, Tableau, Asana and Microsoft Office suite experience is a plus
