Responsibilities

The Automation Solutions Sales Specialist will focus on cultivating and overseeing a dynamic sales pipeline, connecting with prospective clients and designated accounts alike. This position demands a solid grasp of automated technologies, particularly within the garment sector, and a knack for showcasing the tangible financial and efficiency gains these solutions offer. The role involves tailoring offerings to suit customer demands and sealing the deal.

  • Customer Interaction: Build relationships with new leads and key accounts, uncovering their needs and proposing fitting solutions.
  • Lead Development: Actively pursue new opportunities and nurture a strong sales pipeline through outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting.
  • Sales Assistance: Support technical demos, presentations, and field in-depth questions from potential and existing clients.
  • Value Demonstration: Perform ROI assessments and create compelling resources that highlight the operational and cost-saving advantages of the solutions.
  • Team Synergy: Partner with engineering and product teams to stay informed on innovations and ensure accurate, up-to-date information reaches clients.
  • Client Insights: Collect feedback from customers to pinpoint challenges and suggest potential improvements to the product lineup.
  • Technical Mastery: Offer expert-level guidance and insights on the company’s automation products and their applications.
  • Solution Tailoring: Collaborate closely with clients to design customized offerings that address their unique requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to forge lasting client relationships, truly hear their needs, and provide top-tier service with excellent active listening abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits, industry expos, and trade events as necessary.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at simplifying intricate technical details for all audiences.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering, ideally within warehouse automation or robotics; solution-focused sales experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales tools, paired with strong technical know-how in automation systems and ROI evaluation.
  • A collaborative spirit, thriving in team settings where compensation partly reflects collective success and support for team goals.
  • Sharp analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset for devising innovative solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of technical products and how they’re applied in real-world settings.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closure, with polished negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams, including sales, engineering, and product development.
